To ensure competency, licensed engineers often attend continuing education courses on a voluntary or mandatory basis for license renewal. Continuing professional education for licensed engineers is measured in Professional Development Hours (PDHs). A PDH is one contact hour of instruction or presentation. The licensee is responsible for maintaining records to be used to support credits claimed. Currently, more than 50% of US states mandate continuing education competency for licensed engineers.
In an effort to support these requirements, we will be offering a certificate of attendance for a number of the conference breakout sessions. A complete list of these sessions will be posted on the Users web site at a later date.
